RON is a method of notarizing a document from a distance by employing electronic signatures, identity verification, audio-visual communication, and electronic notarial journal and record-keeping systems. These technological tools empower notaries to perform notarizations securely, simultaneously reducing time and travel for both themself and the involved parties. Instead of convening at a physical location to sign a paper document, the notary public and the signer can complete the notarial process on their respective devices, regardless of their geographical locations, provided it aligns with their state’s legal requirements.

$10 for taking an acknowledgement.

$10 for taking a verification upon an oath or affirmation.

$10 for certifying a copy of a document.

$10 for witnessing or attesting a signature.

$10 for protesting commercial paper, except $0 for a check drawn on an insolvent financial institution.

$10 for administering an oath or affirmation without a signature.

We may also charge for traveling to perform a notarial act, in accordance with ORS 194.400(2)(a)(b) and 194.400(3).

For remote online notarization, the fee is $25 per notarial act.
